I spent Friday evening and all day Saturday in Milwaukee for the first ever Stampin’ Up! event called On Stage. Friday evening was an lovely dinner and training for leaders and Saturday was for all demonstrators. We got to see the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs! They are wonderful, but I can’t show you or tell you about any of it until Tuesday, so be sure to come back then and I’ll be sharing some of the projects we made using new product.
We each received our name badges with a ribbon with our titles, and I made a ribbon for my team members with our team name “Stampin’ Express” for them to add to their name badge.
I also made all 15 in attendance at the event these adorable Tic Tac Slider Holders featuring the On Stage Logo. These would make adorable little office treats or stocking stuffers by simply swapping out the paper and stamp set. Wonder how I made them?
I cut a piece of paper (in this case a piece of Farmers Market Designer Series Paper) 2 1/4″ tall x 4″ long and scored it at 1 3/8″, 1 7/8″, 3 1/4″ and 3 3/4″. After folding on the score lines I attached a piece of Tear & Tape to attaché the ends together. Next a 10″ piece of the gorgeous Very Vanilla 1 1/4″ Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon was wrapped around a tiny package of Tic Tacs. I found the tiny Tic Tacs at the Dollar Tree store in the candy section sold three in a package for just $1.00. I small piece of the cold cording tied the ribbon closed and held the Tic Tacs in place, so that I could simply slide the ribbon package inside the paper sleeve. I used the Gold Metallic Foil Doilies and printed the logo on my computer and cut them out and attached these to the package.
