Sometimes I like elaborate and detailed cards but there’s something so serene and peaceful about a simple card. The Enjoy Life stamp set is a great choice when looking for a simple card. Most of the images are “silhouette” styled and the sentiments and fonts are wonderful.
A simple technique like Watercolor Wash can make a simple card simply stunning! A little ink and water will bring it all to life. I did a watercolor wash background on Shimmery White cardstock by using Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green re-inkers and an Aqua Painter to flood the paper with a watercolor wash. Once the paper dried, I used Memento Ink to stamp the sentiment and images. Finally a few layers of cardstock in Granny Apple Green and Basic Black on a card base of Bermuda Bay mat the focal point beautifully.
