I enjoyed featuring a variety of different styles and techniques for the projects for my Stamp, Crop & Cruise Retreat to Alaska. Not only do we create tons of cards and scrapbook pages, but framed art projects have always been a hit. I used the Textured Notes stamp set as the main feature for this 8″ x 8″ shadow box frame and paired it with the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper.
The neutral color pallet makes this a home decor piece that could work in anyone’s home. Each piece of the Designer Paper is layered on a piece of Early Espresso card stock. We used the Basic Beige Ribbon and colored it with a Mossy Meadow Marker before wrapping it around the DSP layers. Images from the Textured Notes stamp set were stamped on the “Linen” print from the Woven Textures DSP using Pecan Pie and Mossy Meadow ink. The larger leafy image was fussy cut and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals after adhering a bit of Linen Thread to the back. A scattering of the Neutral Matt Dots finished off the project.
