Last night in my Stampin’ Studio was my Paper Pumpkin Play Time which was an opportunity for those that have never tried My Paper Pumpkin to see what it’s all about. The photo above shows everything that came in the July kit. I was floored when I opened my box and actually saw everything that came in my little red box. Here’s what was included in the kit:
Wish Big photopolymer 10 piece stamp set
Blackberry Bliss Ink Stampin’ Spot
6 White Card Bases
1 Sheet of Border Stickers
2 Sheets of Blue Stickers, Hearts, Stars and Letters (48 pieces)
1 Sheet Silver Foil Stars (80 stars – 2 sizes)
12 die-cut Round Tags
6 Printed Boxes
Roll of White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon (6 yards)
Spool of White Bakers Twine (7 yards)
6 White Envelopes
Clear Block (with your first month of My Paper Pumpkin)
The kit also comes with instructions for making the card and box with tag shown above. Using a little creativity and some additional card stock look at some of the other items Amanda (one of my team members) created.
A 2 page scrapbook spread.
Six more cards using the stamp set and accessories from the kit.
I priced out each item that comes in the kit individually and came up with the following values:
Stamp Set $8.95
Stampin’ Spot $1.95
Card Bases $1.50
Stickers and Tags $7.95
Boxes $4.50
Ribbon $4.17
Bakers Twine $0.83
Envelopes $0.96
Clear Block $3.00
Total cost if purchase individually $33.81 plus shipping & tax.
I’ve gotta say, I think these kits are a real steal at just $19.95 per month. It’s a surprise class kit to make at home and you pay about 1/2 the cost you would to order the product individually. And an even better deal right now, if you’ve never subscribed to My Paper Pumpkin, is that you can get your first 2 months of My Paper Pumpkin ant half price. Just go to MyPaperPumpkin.com to get signed up! Please use my name (Tina Rappe) when you sign up if you don’t already have a demonstrator. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Also, be sure and put the code HALFOFF2 in the promotion box.
Thank you for sharing alternative projects for the Paper Pumpkin kits. This really helps as I struggle with creating anything other than what are in the instructions. Lovin' the creativity!!
