Crafting Forever Framed Art

Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip to Alaska, Stampin' Studio

So , last night I placed the orders from my Catalog Kick Off Party which put me over the required points needed for the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Alaska!  I am overwhelmed and appreciate all of my loyal followers for the support you’ve shown me year after year.  This little “hobby” of mine which started over 13 years ago has evolved into a booming business with some of the most amazing perks you can imagine.

It’s obvious by the number of online orders I got yesterday (this first day of the catalog release) that you are all loving the catalog.  I’ve got another fun project to share today.

Stampin' Up! Crafting Forever stamp set, Stampin' Studio

I enjoy making framed art for home decor, like this 4″ x 6″  frame I picked up at the dollar store.  I used the Crafting Forever stamp set and the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack.    I stamped the pot of brushes as well as the paper snips image and the stamp image on Whisper White cardstock and cut these out by hand with my Paper Snips.   The “pot” portion of the image was stamped once again on the “crackle” printed piece of DSP and cut out.  Next I attached the “crackled” pot over the white pot so I end up with a crackled pot of brushes.  I inked up my Aqua Painter with Berry Burst ink and “splattered” it on the Whisper White background before attaching the hand trimmed images with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   The sentiment also comes from the Crafting Forever stamp set.  I attached a strip of the “paint Chip” print to the side of the art piece, and now this fun little project sits in my Stampin’ Studio classroom.
