As promised, I’ve got another sneak peek of another product suite from the Holiday Catalog which is available to order from on Friday, September 1st! Today’s suite is the Painted Autumn Suite and you can view it closely on pages 48 & 49 of the catalog. This suite of products includes the Painted Harvest stamp set and coordinating Leaf Punch (sold in a bundle to save you 10%) as well as the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper, Painted Autumn Cardstock Pack, Touches of Nature Elements and the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon.
You can create bold images that look like they’ve been water colored, only they’re not and it’s so easy to do with a little two step stampin’.
So let’s take a close look at this card which has the big sunflower as the focal point. It’s been stamped on a square that’s been die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The leaves were stamped on the square as well and then stamped again on scrap paper and punched out with the Leaf Punch to give some more added dimension. Check out the back ground… more leaves stamped tone on tone in Soft Sky Ink which adds some very subtle visual texture. The pretty printed paper is from the suite as well and is called the Painted Harvest Designer Series Paper. This particular print evokes a summery feel, especially when paired with the Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon. The card is finished off with the beautiful sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set.
