I’ve got another fabulous bundle to share with you today. It’s the Petal Palette Bundle, which features the Petal Palette stamp set and the coordinating Petals & More Thinlits Dies.
I know, there are many stamp sets in the catalogs that feature flowers and at first glance you may think this is just another flower set, but this flower set is a MUST HAVE in my opinion. All of the images in the Petal Palette stamp set have a water color look to them. When you ink them up and stamp them they appear as though you’ve water colored the online image. That’s only the beginning! For today’s card, I then pick up a bit of ink with my Aqua Painter and gave the flower and leaves a wash of color. Then I broke out my Big Shot and the Petals & More Thinlits to cut out the flowers. The dies will also cut out the bird and other images in the set. The stamp set also has a great textured polka dot image in the set which I used for the background.

Measurements:
⦁ Berry Burst: 4-1/4″ x 11″ score at 5-1/2″
⦁ Pear Pizzazz: 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″
⦁ Whisper White: 3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″, and 2-1/2″ x 1/2″ and 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
⦁ Pink Pirouette: 3-1/4″ x 4-3/8″
⦁ Pear Pizzazz 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon: 4-1/2″
⦁ Berry Burst 5/8″ Crinkle Ribbon: 8″
Instructions:
⦁ Use Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker to color leaves and Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Marker to color the flowers directly on stamp, huff with your breath to remoisten the ink and stamp on the 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock.
⦁ Using Aqua Painter pick up ink from the inside of the lid of the Pear Pizzazz and Berry Burst Ink Pads and watercolor the flowers and leaves. Once this has dried cut out the stamped image with the Big Shot and the Petals & More Thinlits Dies
⦁ Stamp the dotted image in Pink Pirouette Ink on the Pink Pirouette cardstock.
⦁ Wrap Pear Pizzazz 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon around Pink Pirouette card stock and secure to the backside with Mini Glue Dots.
⦁ Tie a bow with the Berry Burst 5/8″ Crinkle Ribbon and attach with Mini Glue Dots.
⦁ Ink up the “thank you” sentiment in Berry Burst and stamp off once before stamping on the 2-1/2″ x 1/2″ piece of Whisper White card stock. Trim a notch in one end and attach to the Pink Pirouette card stock.
⦁ Attach Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of die cut floral image and secure to the Pink Pirouette card stock.
⦁ Assemble the layers as follows: Pink Pirouette on the Whisper White layered on the Pear Pizzazz.
⦁ Attach the above layers to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
