Deck the house for Halloween

When I first saw the Holiday Home stamp set and coordinating framelit in the Holiday Catalog, I thought, “this is a set I don’t need to get”, that is until I started to see samples made with it.  I decided to purchase it and have been having great fun playing with this super versatile stamp set.  It was super quick and easy to deck this house our for Halloween, but just imagine the possibilities for Christmas, We’re moving, happy new home…the possibilities are endless.

Bring on the Boos!

That could be “Boos” as in scary or “Booze” as in drink.  Either way, I just love the “Making Spirits Bright” stamp set.  This one was designed by my sister, Peggy.  The Happy Halloween was stamped in Versa Mark and embossed with Crushed Curry Embossing Powder.  The color combination was inspired by the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper that was also used on the card.  This would make a cute invitation to a Halloween party.

Baby it’s Cold Outside

Okay, so the snow has not fallen here yet, but it sure feels like it’s right around the corner.  Over the weekend we went to the farmers market on the square in Madison.  We had a great time although it was really cold.  We bought lots of great food there including some Apple Cider.  When we got home I was looking up recipes for cold weather food and beverages and came across a recipe that called for hot apple cider and Caramel Vodka.  Oh my goodness is that a tasty treat.  It tastes just like  caramel apple and it warned me up in no time.

So, any way, let’s talk stamping…I used the All is Calm Designer Series Paper with the 2″ Circle Punch.  The “Burr” and the “Snowflake” are from the “Snowflake Card Thinlits Die” and the greeting comes from the “Project Life Holiday Cheer” stamp set.
