It’s a Wow Card!

This is the final card from my Tools of the Trade class featuring the Stars Framelits. I love the effect of the graduated stars.  This card opens like a regular card at first.

Next, there’s a piece of Hello Honey card stock that open to the right to reveal the inside.

Happy Birthday USA!

I hope you’re all enjoying a wonderfully relaxing 4th of July.  Our plans, if all cooperates, is to get out onto the lake for some sailing.  My Salute to the Red, White & Blue is this shaker card we made this week at my Tools of the Trade class which featured the Stars Framelits.  I punched a bunch of tiny stars from Real Red, Night of Navy and Silver Glimmer Paper and put them all in a little cello bag which I attached to the card with Fast Fuse Adhesive.  That stuff works fantastic to get tough things to adhere.  I made a double bow with some of our new Night of Navy Seam Binding ribbon and the “USA” letters are from the “Little Letters” Framelits.  How adorable is that?

Is There No Limit to Your Awesomeness?

I love this saying from the “Big News” stamp set.  It’s perfect for those really special people in our lives.   I stamped it in Whisper White ink so the card would have a chalk board look to it.  I used the Star Framelits and the little star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  It’s quick, simple and awesome.
