Burger & Chips Please

I think of all the cards we made at my Punch Art Creations class, the Burger & Chips was the favorite.  The sesame seed bun was made by using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, the hamburger patty was textured with the Square Lattice Folder and the lettuce was textured with the Woodgrain Folder.  The chips were punched with the small Oval punch, then crumpled up to break down the fibers and the card stock was carefully separated into two pieces revealing a “chip” like texture.  Looks good enough to eat.  Tomorrow I’ll share the final project from the class… a beer to go with the burger.

Easter Chick

The Owl Builder Punch does it again.  This sweet little Easter Chick was made using the Owl Builder punch.  I punched the Owl twice once in So Saffron and Once in Crushed Curry. The feet and ears were cut off the So Saffron piece and all I needed from the Crushed Curry piece were the feet.  Two Crushed Curry tiny hearts were used for the tuft of feathers on his head and for his beak.  The wings were made from the small oval punch and trimmed.  Isn’t he just the cutest? To Recreate This Project You’ll Need:

Springtime Tulips

Last night I had a Punch Art Creations Card Class, which everyone enjoyed.  These lovely tulips were made with the Owl Builder Punch!  What?  Yes you read that right.  We used two owls per flower and cut the “feet” off each one and cut one owl apart to make the flower petals.  The leaves were cut by hand and textured with an embossing folder.  The grass was made with the fringe scissors.  Be sure to check back tomorrow to see an Easter chick made from the owl punch.
