Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Day 3

Wow! We had such a fabulous time over the weekend with everyone who attended our 8th annual Stampin’ Sisters Retreat. The name of our retreat came about because it’s Peggy and I host the retreat and we are sisters who stamp, but by the end of the weekend, I think we all feel like sisters after more than 48 hours of stamping, laughing, sharing & bonding.

On Sunday morning when the stampers made there way to their seats, they found a gift wrapped in the sale-a-bration sweet Sorbet designer Series Paper and decorated with a personalized hand stamped card thanking them for spending their weekend with us.  the card was decorated with the Sweet Sorbet Accessories Pack which is another sale-a-bration item.  The gift inside the pretty package was the Making a Point stamp set which is a hostess exclusive set.  The attendees were so excited to find out they got to create a project with the set and the stamp set was theirs to keep.

The project was a boxed gift set with six 3″ x 3″ cards and matching envelopes and wrapped chocolate nuggets which all fit inside the Decorative Window Gift Boxes which was embellished with a spiral flower.  This was project 10 of the weekend.

Starting tomorrow I will share one project each day starting at the beginning, not to rub your nose in the fact that you missed all this, but to get you planning to attend next years event.  We’ve got the date set and venue booked already and we ‘d love to see you next year on March 6-8th.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Day 2

Sixty-two women, some who knew one another before the weekend started and some who did not all became fast friends after spending the weekend together at our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.  On Saturday, we started bright and early with a sweet treat to start the day followed by lots of stamping.  I’ll start sharing those projects tomorrow.

Here are the sweet treats they got today.  Made with the Sale-a-bration Twisty Treat Bags with tags.

We had a card swap and contest.  Nearly everyone participated and we had some amazing cards.  Elise G. won 1st place, Colleen K. won 2nd place and Jo H. won 3rd place.  Congratulations ladies.

When they returned from dinner, everyone found a custom designed T-shirt featuring the Stampin’ Sisters logo.

We also had a chocolate pineapple tree for evening snack, ’cause you know that stampin’ and chocolate go together.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Day 1

Yesterday was the start of our 8th Annual Stampin’ Sisters Retreat that my sister Peggy and I put on.  We had a great time decorating everything with banners including the signage we had outside our room to the goodie bags everyone got.

All 60 of the attendees received a super sized goodie bag filled with all of the supplies for 10 project groups plus over $100 in Stampin’ Up! product.

Each year we recognize our “All-Timers”, that is the stampers who have attended all 8 of our retreats.  They each received a Tag a Bag Gift Box filled with chocolate and topped off with a Calypso Coral Rose made from the Spiral Flower Die and Burlap Ribbon Trim.

Our “Newbies”, those who are attending for the first time, each received a hand made trash bag and holder.

Our team members who attended retreat each received a pretty stamped muslin bag decorated with a Flower Die Rose and filled with Hershey’s Kisses.

Don’t be upset you missed all the fun this year, just remember to sign up and join us next year.  This is a photo of Evie, Peggy’s granddaughter who wishes she could be here.

Be sure to check back tomorrow when I share more of the fun we had.
