Happy Birthday Dave!

Today is my hubby’s birthday, so for the next 9 months we are the same age (even though I’m 3 months older than him).  For those 3 months, he gives me grief about marrying an older woman and me robbing the cradle. So now it’s my turn to rib him about being sooo old.
I kept this card simple because of the print of the Kaleidoscope paper (I didn’t want the image or layout to fight for attention with the crazy print).

Here a banner there a banner

You never can have too much of a good thing, right.  How about four banners on one card?  I used the Banner Framelits to make all of the banners on  this card.  It gives me the layers I love and it’s very quick.  Gotta love that.

The arrow marks the spot

Have you noticed all the items in the Occasions catalog with arrows?  There are quite a few and actually if you look at clothing and home décor you’ll find arrows there too.  Arrows are definitely a trend right now.  This arrow comes from the Stamp set Peachy Keen and it’s cut out with the On Film Framelits.  The film strip also comes from the same Framelits, how cute is that?
