There’s only one you in the world

I love the saying in this stamp from the Chalk Talk stamp set.  It’s so fitting for so many reasons.  I paired the words and image from Chalk Talk with the World Map background stamp which seemed perfect.  Love the texture from the two different embossing folders, as well as the subtle bling from the Candy Dots.

Let the Party Begin!

We’ve been celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s 25th anniversary all year long, but during the week of the actual date (October 25th to be exact) Stampin’ Up! thought they should pump up the party even more.  So what better way than a sale on the very product that started it all, Stamps of course!
The list is a little hard to read here, but you can view them all through my online store, just click on the shop now button and look under specials.  Our weekly specials are also ready for you to check out.  Oh my goodness, so many exciting deals this week!

All these stamps can be ordered online through my store, just click on the shop now button in the upper right and enjoy 25% off savings on them all but only for one week.

Painters Tape Technique

This fun fall card is just one of the three cards we made at Jeanne’s party yesterday.  The strip on the left side of the card was done using painters tape.  You know that blue tape you can get at the hardware store that you put around your wood trim before you paint?  That’s the stuff I’m talking about.  Just tear off a strip, lay it down on the ink pad and rub the tape with your finger to pick up the ink, then place the inked up tape on your cardstock.  Really, it’s that easy.  Give it a try and email me a photo of your project.  I’ll pick out one sample that gets sent to me and I’ll post it on my blog next week.  Just think, you could see your creation on the internet.  I can’t wait to see what you all send me.
Be sure to check back tomorrow as Stampin’ Up! is announcing a Big Special that starts on Tuesday and runs for only one week.
