10 year Annivesary

September 29, 2003 I joined Stampin’ Up!  I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already. I joined because I fell in love with stamping and  I loved the Stampin’ Up! products with all of the coordination.  I was only going to do a few parties, so I could get a discount and get the things I wanted, then I’d quit.  Well, here we are 10 years later and still going strong.  I love what I do, I love sharing creative ideas with you, getting to know you better and you know I can’t quit because Stampin’ Up! keeps coming out with  new and amazing stuff I just have to have.

Joining the Stampin’ Up! family is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.  It has allowed me to strengthen my relationship with my sister Peggy, who is also a demonstrator on my team.  It has allowed me to develop great friendships with many of you.  My Stampin’ Up! business has provided me with extra income to help fund my kids college education, many home improvement projects and has allowed me to earn free trips for Dave and me to many exotic destinations.  Being part of this the past 10 years has inspired me, and nurtured my soul  I thank you for sharing this journey with me.
In recognition of my 10 year Anniversary and in appreciation for your support of me and my business, whether it was one order at a party or continuous support over the years, I am offering you an Anniversary Special.

Please accept an invitation to save 35% on any size order you place with me from Wednesday, September 25th – Sunday, September 29th.
All you need to do is call me or send me an email with your order and I will give you your total.  Regular tax and shipping applies.  If your order is over $150 you will receive regular hostess benefits from Stampin’ Up!  Rewards points cannot be earned with this special.

Halloween Banner

I don’t know if you’ve paid much attention to the cute banner kits featured in the Holiday Catalog but they are adorable.  They’re pretty easy to look right past, but I really think you need to check them out.  I got the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit which has 18 pennants, Jute Twine for hanging, Alphabet and Designer Stencils and a Stampin’ Spritzer.  There are plenty of pennants for making quite a few banners, and the stencils can obviously be used over and over again.  For this Halloween Banner I also used the Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit.  This kit has pre-scored paper for making rosettes, glittered die-cut accents, 4 different ribbons, 2 different buttons and best of all…complete instructions for making this banner.  Super fun and super cool.  I’m going to get the Christmas Banner Kit too and do up some winter banners.

Here’s a card that does a double flip.  Instead of the normal 5 1/2″ x 6″ for the card, I cut this one 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ to make an extra flap to flip out on the inside of the card.  Here’s what the inside looks like.
