Painters Tape Technique

This fun fall card is just one of the three cards we made at Jeanne’s party yesterday.  The strip on the left side of the card was done using painters tape.  You know that blue tape you can get at the hardware store that you put around your wood trim before you paint?  That’s the stuff I’m talking about.  Just tear off a strip, lay it down on the ink pad and rub the tape with your finger to pick up the ink, then place the inked up tape on your cardstock.  Really, it’s that easy.  Give it a try and email me a photo of your project.  I’ll pick out one sample that gets sent to me and I’ll post it on my blog next week.  Just think, you could see your creation on the internet.  I can’t wait to see what you all send me.

Be sure to check back tomorrow as Stampin’ Up! is announcing a Big Special that starts on Tuesday and runs for only one week.
