Gift Card Packaging

With just over a week until Christmas, the push is on.  The tree is decorated, I got some baking done (more to do yet) I think I’ve got all the gifts bought, so it’s onto the wrapping now.  Some gifts this year will be gift cards and I like to make them look pretty and special.  This pretty package is actually a gift card holder.  check it out!

When you lift the flap the gift card pops up out of the package.
How cute is that?!?  I know, you want to know how I did that right?
Well here are the dimensions with a few photos to help you out.

Cut Designer Paper 9 1/4″ tall x 5 1/4″ wide.
Score the long side at 1 1/2″ and 6″.
Score the short side at 1/2″ and 4 3/4″.
Cut the pieces out as shown and fold on score lines.
Apply Sticky Strip to flaps.

For the Gift Card Pop Up cut card stock 3 1/4″ tall x 3 3/4″ wide.
Score at 3/8″ and apply sticky strip.

Attach flap of Gift Card Pop Up about 1/2″ from top edge of designer paper on inside.  Peel sticky strip from side flaps and fold package up.
Decorate the outside as desired.  I used more Season of Style DSP, Burlap Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Ribbon and the Christmas Tagables Bundle.
