The final technique we did at my Tools of the Trade: Blendabilites class last week was Colored Vellum. The image from the hostess stamp set Bloom with Hope was stamped in Stazon on the Vellum card stock. After flipping the vellum over we colored the image on the back side with Blendabilities. The result is a softened image. One of the challenges in using vellum is how to adhere it to a card without the adhesive showing. In the card above I cut ovals through the Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler card stock so that there is a window open to the inside of the card. The vellum piece is sandwiched between the Cherry Cobbler and the Whisper White card base.
If you missed my other Blendabilities techniques scroll back through all of the posts from the last week and you’ll find a total of 8 techniques featuring Blendabilities.
