I was moving things around in my stampin’ studio and came across some more swaps from Leadership that I had forgotten about. This one, featuring the “Would You Be Mine” stamp set, was poking it’s way out of the pile saying “pick me, pick me”! I don’t know who made this card but I love it. This is a beautiful example of the masking technique. The lumberjack was stamped on the card stock first, then stamped again on a “post-it note” which was cut out and attached directly over the image on the card stock. Next the tree line and the logs were stamped while the lumberjack was still covered up. Once the “post-it note” is removed it reveals the depth and layering that masking achieves.
