I wanted to share a fun card we made last week at my Stamp & Go Club.
I used the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack and cut the different prints into 1″ x 3″ pieces and mounted them on a 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Basic Black card stock. These printed panels give a lively back ground to the simple card. Next I used the Festive Flower Builder Punch to create the fun flower using the Watermelon Wonder, Old Olive, Basic Black and Whisper White color palate from the paper.
This is such a lovely card. The black with the Watermelon Wonder is stunning!
I love the look of watermelon wonder and black together too. It really pops!
Tina, are the measurements for the black mat correct? If so, should the print strips be 1" x 3"? The colors look great together. This is a wonderful paper stack and on sale this week!
Thanks for pointing that our Debra. I've edited the post to the correct 1" x 3" strips. Yes, the timing was perfect in the fact that the paper is on sale. I love a good sale!
