A few days of rain and some sunny weather and I’ve got some spring flowers blooming in my gardens at home. I thought you might like to see some ink and paper versions of spring flowers.
I love this card layout because you can see the inside of the card from the outside when the card is closed. The card base is Wisteria Wonder cut 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. Then I took the largest of the Lots of Labels Framelits and cut a window in the front of the card.
Then when you open the card you get an unexpected surprise in the fact that it’s a card inside a card. The Whisper White layer inside is 8″ x 5 1/4″ and is scored at 4″. The flowers come from the Helping Me Grow stamp set and I colored them in with my Aqua Painters.
The sentiments on the inside and outside of the card are both from the Cottage Greetings stamp set.
