With only one day until Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share this sweet and feminine card which could be used for Valentine’s Day or any day for a sweet baby, young girl or woman in your life. The soft and feminine color palette of Crumb Cake, Vanilla and Blushing Bride, come from the Falling in Love Designer Series paper
Today’s Color Palette: Sweet & Feminine
I created the row of three dimensional hearts along the side with the Love Notes Framelits by simply placing the die along the outer edge of the card base. A little pulling on the hearts with my fingers allows them to pop up off the card and also lets the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper peek through from behind. Next, I stamped the floral heart image on Blushing Bride cardstock with Blushing Bride ink for a soft tone on tone look and die cut the two hearts with the Love Notes Framelits, once again lifting the center heart for dimension. A bow from the Very Vanilla Lace Trim adds some soft texture to the front of the card. Finally, the addition of the sentiment and little hearts from the Sealed With Love stamp set finish off this card.
