When I attended Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event in Minneapolis back in April, I saw some cards on the display boards featuring the This Little Piggy stamp set. I fell in love with it immediately! The images are just adorable with four different happy little piggies and and sweet sentiments. I knew I’d be putting this set on my “must have list”. Well, lucky for me I didn’t have to wait long, because Stampin’ Up! gave everyone at the event the This Little Piggy stamp set. This is the very first card I created with new product from the catalog and I just love it! I mean, how can you not smile when you see the smile on that little pigs face? Right?

Let’s Take a Closer Look
The image was stamped on Whisper White cardstock with Basic Black ink (you’ll always want to use either the Basic Black or Basic Gray inks when you’re watercoloring). Next I water colored the pig with Powder Pink ink and the Aqua Painter for a very light little pig. I used colored in the frass and the stem with the Lemon Lime Twist Marker and the flower center with Daffodil Delight. I added texture with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and tossed in lots of layers with the use of the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper and matted rectangles and circles. I also added a piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Double Stitched Ribbon.
