So, what makes a kids birthday card? Well, certainly it could be images that a kid can relate to like dolls, or toys or sports. For me it’s also the use of color, like the primary colors used on this card (along with the balloons of course).

Notice the texture on the Pacific Point background that was created with the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder? Also, check out the Crushed Curry patterned paper from the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. The sentiments and balloons all come from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, and I love that the balloons can be punched out with the Balloon Bouquet Punch. The Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set is extremely versatile, even though at first glance it seems to be very feminine with all of the flowery images.
