Yesterday I posted about my husband Dave hosting my Delightful Daisy Suite Escape (if you missed that post you can see it HERE). I wanted to start sharing with you the cards that were part of the class. Today’s card has great texture in the background with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. On top of that I used a piece of the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, folding over the top edge of the paper so that the backside (green diagonal stripes) showed too. The leaves were stamped in Old Olive ink on Old Olive card stock and cut out by had, while the flowers (two of them) were Stamped in Crushed Curry ink on Daffodil Delight card stock and punched out with the Daisy Punch. I curled the petals of the flowers down with the Bone Folder and stacked the two flowers on top of one another with Stampin’ Dimensionals for a bit more depth before I added the Gold Faceted Gem which is also part of the Delightful Daisy Product Suite. The finishing touch was adding the sentiment (also from the Daisy Delight stamp set) which was stamped on a 1″ piece of card stock and turned into a banner with the Banner Triple Punch. Dave taught them well on this because we said everyone’s card looked just like mine. More cards from the class coming up over the next few days.
