Wine improves with age, we improve with wine – isn’t that the truth? I think it would make a great birthday card, what do you think? I started the card out with a base of Fresh Fig and a layer of Basic Black. Next I added a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock which I embossed with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder. It gives such a pretty texture to the card. I was flipping through all of my designer series papers and was excited to find this print from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. I think it looks like a bunch of grapes, so this is where my color palette came from. The sentiment comes from the Half Full stamp set. I stamped it in Basic Black ink and colored the little border with Fresh Fig ink and a Blender Pen and cut it out by hand. The grape leaves were colored in with Lemon Lime Twist and a Blender Pen. For the grapes I stamped them a second time on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, colored them in with Fresh Fig and a Blender Pen, then cut them out by hand before attaching them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished the card off by tucking two sprigs of leaves (that were punched out of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock with the Leaf Punch) behind the sentiment tag and attached that to the card with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
