Wow, we’re already to day 6 of my Keep it simple Christmas card series. All of the cards in this series are cards that are very quick and simple to make, so they’re ones you could easily mass produce for your card sending this Christmas season.
On the 6th day of Christmas…
We got a super classic Christmas color palette today with green and red. The quilt print paper is from the Quilted Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. There are so many beautiful quilt print papers in this package, it’s hard to decide which to use. The DSP is layered on a piece of Garden Green and then on a larger piece of Whisper White which is where the stamping takes place. The tree is created with two different images from the Christmas Quilt stamp set. The patterned triangles of the tree are one image and they’re stamped in Garden Green, while the solid colored triangles (again all of those triangles are on one stamp image) are stamped in Old Olive, so that when the two images are put together, it makes a complete tree! The sentiment is also from the Quilted Christmas stamp set. A knot was tied in a piece of Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon and attached to the top of the tree with a Mini Glue Dot. And there, folks, is card 6 in my Keep it simple Christmas card series.
