I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, we sure did. And now that Christmas is over and we are just 8 days away from the new Occasions ans Sale-a-bration catalogs beginning (January 3rd is the date you can order), I will be sharing cards and projects featuring some of the new products from these two new fabulous catalog. Today’s card features the Petal Passion Suite.
I used many of the products found in the Petal Passion Suite on this card, starting out with the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. This paper is all black & white with beautiful floral patterns that can be colored in various ways. I used a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker to color in a few of the flowers so that it would coordinate with the Calypso Coral card base. Next I added a strip of Smokey Slate card stock and another print (striped) from the same designer series paper. The adorable bird and the sentiment both come from the Petal Palette stamp set and were then punched out with the 2″ Circle Punch. I attached a couple pieces of ribbon behind the circle for added interest. One of those ribbons is the new 1/4″ Whisper White Organza Ribbon. Look closely and you’ll see that I added a couple Petal Passion Embellishments to the card as well (leave near the lower right of the circle and the 5 petal flower on the upper left of the circle. There are three other products in this suite that I haven’t even featured on this card and that is the Petal Pair Embossing Folders which are stunning, the Petals and More Thinlits Dies which make cutting out the stamped images a breeze, and the Petal Passions Memories & More Card Pack which is great for scrap booking but also makes card making a snap. I will feature more of these products in the days to come.
