Happy first day of Spring! Although I love the change of seasons here in Wisconsin, I am thrilled that winter is officially over, so let’s celebrate Spring with a card made from the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer series Paper. This gorgeous spring inspired paper has foil designs in gold foil, rose foil and silver foil.
I used Whisper White Thick cardstock for the base of the card cutting it 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scoring it at 2-2/4″ and 5-1/2″. Next I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and cut out a square from the Copper Foil Paper. The lovely polka dotted paper is one of the prints from the Springtime Foils DSP. Next I cut out one of the flowers from another print in the Springtime Foils DSP and colored the flower with Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends and the Leaves in Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I added a bit of Copper Thread behind the flower and popped the flower up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I love, love love the coordination of our products. Copper Foil Paper, Rose Gold Foil in the Springtime Foils DSP and the Copper Thread. This is an elegant card that has no stamping on it at all.
