Yesterday I started sharing about our Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat and I’ve got lots more to share today and over the next week or so. We were busy and I want those of you who didn’t attend to see the fun gifts and projects we had.
Every year we like to recognize the “newbies”, that is those who have never attended our retreat before. This year we had 20 newbies and Peggy made these adorable treat holders using the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set and coordinating Pocket Framelits. Check out the red & white hankie in the pocket.
Meet the newbies!
We were fortunate in having 23 of our team join us for retreat this year. They participated as regular stampers and didn’t work the event at all. I had bone folders engraved with our Stampin’ Sister’s Logo and then I made this cute little holder for them. It’s kind of hard to see in the photo but I used some of the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper and ran it through the Basket Weave Embossing Folder for that picnic basket texture. I made the flower with the Pansy Punch.
Meet the team members that attended. *We had more fun stampers join our team by the time our retreat was over! Maybe you’d like to join the Stampin’ Sister’s Team too!?
We charge $200 for the weekend long retreat with all of the classes and projects included. We offer a monthly payment option or, for those that pay the whole retreat fee in one payment when they register, we had a special gift. I decorated a package of Rhinestone Basic Jewels and tucked them in an Whisper White Envelope that I ran through the Basket Weave Embossing Folder. Let me just say, the release of the new Sale-a-bration choices, which included the Blossoming Basket Bundle with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder was perfectly timed for helping me create these themed items. 60 of our 93 retreat participants received the Rhinestone package.
And what’s a picnic without the ants, right? Everyone got to have a go at “Ants in the Pants”. All they had to do was to get an ant in the pants and they won a prize valued between $9-$11 dollars. Everyone was a winner!
Tomorrow I’ll share the project/ class where everyone got their own stamp set to take home with them. See you then?
