Another thing to do with the Tailored Tag Punch

Yesterday I shared a couple cards that used the Paper Piecing Technique with the Tailored Tag Punch.  If you missed them, you can view those HERE.  Today I’ve got another use for the Tailored Tag Punch: You can use it to create notches in your banners.

This masculine card starts out with a Night of Navy card base cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″.  On the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very vanilla cardstock. I’ve stamped the sentiment and arrows from Truly Tailored stamp set in Night of Navy ink.  After punching the banners (see how I did that below) I attached them to the Very Vanilla cardstock and added a piece of the Night of navy Corduroy Ribbon and attached all of this to the card base.  The Truly Tailored stamp set and Tailored tag Punch are sold individually or bundled for a 10% savings.

How to make a banner with the Tailored Tag Punch

I used the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper and cut three different prints 1-1/2″ wide by 3″ long.  I inserted one end of the strip into the punch and voila’, a banner is born.
