Yesterday was a special day. It was my sister Peggy’s birthday, and also her Stampin’ Up! anniversary. She’s been a demonstrator for 14 years today, my first team member! I made her this card for her birthday.
I used many of the elements from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit; the flowers and leaves are silver printed vellum die cuts which I colored in with Stampin’ Blends and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots. I added the tassels from the kit as well and tied a bow with the Silver Bakers Twine. The silver washi tape also comes from the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit. There are tons of fabulous embellishments in this kit, so many that everything you create can have a different look and feel to it.
The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set. I stamped it in VersaMark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and added some Rhinestone Jewels.
Next, I decorated the envelope flap with the coordinating Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I even embellished the inside of the card with more heat embossing, washi tape and vellum die cuts.
