The Rooted in Nature Bundle is phenomenal and I’ve been creating with it quite a bit lately. This time, rather than going with the traditional fall color scheme, I thought I’d go with a summery feel by using Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana and Balmy Blue.
Today’s Color Combo
There is a lot of texture and layers on this card, so let’s start at the top and work our way down. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to nicely frame the sentiment which was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink. The leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and cut out with the Nature’s Roots Framelits. The Balmy Blue strip down the middle of the card has texture added to it by using one of the embossing leaves from the Nature’s Roots Framelits. By running it through the Big Shot, the leaves are “pressed” into the cardstock for an unexpected bit of texture. The stamped leaves are Coastal cabana and Pear Pizzazz on Whisper White cardstock. All of the is attached to a layer of Coastal Cabana cardstock, then a Pear Pizzazz layer and then onto the Whisper White card base.
