Oh my goodness, Dave and I just returned from a fabulous week in the warmth of the Caribbean on my first Stamp Crop & Cruise Retreat! We had so much fun with those that attended the event with us. I want to share all the details with you as far as wheat we did and where we went and all of the projects we made and the goodies my guests were given. We sailed out of Tampa Florida on January 26th and Dave and I got right to work getting our Stampin’ Studio all set up on the ship.
We had this space reserved for the entire 7 day cruise. I had a stamping station with displays of the projects they would be making over the course of the event. Each of my guests had a table of their own to work on.
On each of their tables they were welcomed with a bag tag and big collapsible “Goody” bag filled with all the projects for the week as well as collapsible trash can, a bow maker (made by my dad), a name tag,a water bottle and a flyer for next years Stamp Crop & Cruise Retreat!
Here you can see everything that was in their Goody bag as well as all of the extra give-aways they each received. We made 8 big projects (which I’ll showcase in the upcoming days) and they got a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook, an 8″ x 8″ shadowbox picture frame, a stamp set, 8 rolls of ribbon, 4 packages of embellishments, an Aqua Painter, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Sponges, and Multi-purpose Glue.
Over the coarse of my 15 years as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’ve hosted many different events such a s classes, parties, day retreats, and full weekend retreats with my sister Peggy, this was the first time I had hosted a week long retreat on a cruise ship. These are the amazing women I was blessed to spend the week with. We had attendees from Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska, Maryland, Georgia and California. We had so much fun and I’ve already got the cruise for 2020 booked. Space is limited and we’re already about 25% filled. I will not have the new Stamp Crop & Cruise site updated until later in the week, but here’s the basic information.
I’ll be sharing projects and ports and more, so be sure to come back tomorrow.
