Stampin’ Sisters Retreat: Birthday Cheer Bundle Framed Art

Do we just create cards at our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat?  No mam, we do cards, scrapbooks, 3-D items and Framed Art.  This Birthday Framed Art piece was project 2 that we made Friday Night.  My thought, when I was creating this framed art project is that it would be a great piece to use at work.  Whenever it’s someone’s birthday, the easel gets placed on the birthday persons desk, so they can be recognized all day long.  It would also be a great piece to get our at home when it’s someone’s birthday.

I used the Birthday Cheer Bundle which features 9 stamps including the fabulous sentiments you see here.  The bundle also includes the Detailed Birthday Edgelits which really make this project “pop”!  We cut the presents out of Basic Black cardstock with one of the dies from Detailed Birthday Edgelits and glued it to the Whisper White cardstock with Tombo Multi-purpose Glue.  Stampin’ Blends were the perfect way to add multiple colors very easily.  The cute little tag was also die cut with the Detailed Birthday Edgelits.  Everyone received a roll of the Mini Striped Bermuda Bay Ribbon which was used to embellish the artwork and the “Shiplap” clip board.  A few layers of coordinating cardstock and this project was done.

I was thinking that this project could be made with interchangeable images to swap out for different seasons and holidays.  I know you’re wondering, so I’ll let you know I ordered the frames through Micheal’s as a bulk buy; they come in a package of 6.
