Gorgeous and Super Simple Christmas Cards

With Christmas coming up so quick after Thanksgiving, I thought you’d like a little inspiration for some super simple yet gorgeous cards.

Stampin' Up! Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Studio

Each of these cards features the stunning Fells Like Frost Designer Series Paper and a simple sentiment from various stamp sets.  The Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper was so popular that the entire supply of it has sold out and we will not be getting anymore in this year.  Here’s proof that if you see something you like, you really need to get it right away.  I sold a ton of this paper, so I know many of you have it, and that’s why I wanted to share these stunning cards.  The great news for those of you that don’t have this paper, they’re going to be bringing it back next fall in the 2020 Holiday Catalog!

The sentiment from this card is stamped in Night of Navy ink directly on the Feels Like Frost DSP and comes from the Host stamp set called Greatest Part of Christmas.  The card base is Night of Navy with a layer of Whisper White.

Here a Pretty Peacock card base has a layer of the Feels Like Frost DSP which has been stamped with the sentiment from the Christmastime is Here stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink.

Seaside Spray was used for the card base which was topped with a layer of Whisper White cardstock.  I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon around the Feels Like Frost DSP and tied it in a knot before attaching the layer to the card.  Finally, the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas (host stamp set) was stamped on a banner with Seaside Spray ink.

The three previous cards all feature the photographic side of the DSP, so for the forth and final card, I wanted to show you the White and Silver Metallic side of one of the papers.  Whisper White Thick cardstock was used for the card base with a layer of Seaside Spray.  Next is a layer of Silver Foil.  The sentiment, stamped on Whisper White in Seaside Spray ink, comes from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, and is layered on a piece of the DSP.  I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon around the DSP before attaching the layer to the card.
