We not only create card projects for our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat, we also do some framed art projects. Project 2 is this soft and feminine project featuring the Forever Blossoms Bundle. All in attendance received the 8″ x 8″ frame to put tier art work in.
To create the framed art piece, we started with a 8″ x 8″ piece of Thick Whisper White card stock and added a 6″ x 6″ piece of Petal Pink followed by a Gray Granite piece that measures 5- 3/4″ x 5-3/4″.
Gray Granite ink was used on a 5-5/8″ x 5-5/8″ piece of Whisper White to stamp the “splotch” from the Painted Poppies stamp set as well as the sentiment from the stamp set called Enjoy Life. A 5″ piece of Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon was added to the white layer before adding a label which was die-cut from Whisper White using the Painted Labels Dies. The label is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flower image from the Forever Blossoms stamp set was stamped in Memento ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock, by stamping off once. It was then easily cut out using the coordinating Cherry Blossoms Dies. Next the flowers were colored in with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo while the stems and leaves used the Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Combo and finally the flowers were given a glimmer coat using the Wink of Stella The flower was then attached to the label layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adorned with Champagne Rhinestone Jewels, which everyone got a package of to use on their project and take the rest home.
