I’ve got a fun card to share to day featuring the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle. But first, but I want to let you know that there has been a Clearance Rack Refresh with great savings on past retired products and there are still tons of Retired Products that are available at amazing savings.
Color Combo
The Butterfly Brilliance stamp set is one large stamp with 6 different butterfly images and the Brilliant Wings Dies have one large die that cuts out all 6 of the butterfly images in one pass through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine as well as another large die that cuts out the detailed butterflies shown below. To make it even better, there are 6 more dies that cut out extra images. As always, the stamp set and dies can be purchase individually or if you’d like to save 10% (and why wouldn’t you?) purchase the bundle of the stamp set and dies.
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
- Basic Black: 3-3/4” x 5”
- So Saffron: 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”
- Basic White: 3-1/4” x 2-1/4” and 5” x 6”
Instructions:
- Fold the Thick Basic White piece on the score line for the card base.
- Emboss So Saffron piece with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and attach to large Basic Black piece and then on the card front with Stampin’ Seal
- On the small Basic White cut out the 2nd largest octagon from the Hippo & Friends Dies and stamp “thank you” from the Art Gallery stamp set in Memento Ink and attach to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
- On the large Basic White piece stamp the butterflies using Memento Ink and cut them out with the Brilliant Wings Dies.
- Choose one large and one small die-cut butterfly to color in with Stampin’ Blends: Dark Daffodil Delight on small areas, Light Pumpkin Pie for the main wing sections, Dark Pumpkin Pie for shading on the wings and Light Basic Black for the body.
- Attach the butterflies to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Color 2 Basic Pearl Jewels with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and one with the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend and attach to the label on the card front.
