Flowers of Friendship Bundle

I love the way this card POPS!  The new In Color Polished Pink paired with Basic Black and Basic White is so fresh and festive.  I used the Flowers of Friendship Bundle (Flowers & Leaves Punch and Flowers of Friendship stamp set) and was able to add some Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, and Soft Succulent (more new In Colors) for a fun thank you card.

So, let’s start by talking about the base of this card and working our way up to the top!  Thick Basic White cardstock was perfect for the base and then I added the Basic Black Scallop piece using the Scalloped Contours Die and topped it off with a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Polished Pink.  Next up was another piece of Basic Black and the Scalloped Contours Dies.  The sweet little banner was made with a 1″ x 2-1/” piece of Basic White punched on the right side with the Treasured Tag Pick a Punch and stamped in Memento ink with the sentiment from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set.

Now we’re ready to add the details.  The two different flower images and leaves were each stamped twice on Basic White cardstock and colored in with Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs in Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent.  Coloring the flowers and leaves before they’re punched out is much easier than coloring the tiny punched pieces.  The flowers and leaves are all attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The finishing touch is the flower embellishment that was added to the center of the Polished Pink Flower.  The 4th flower colored in Polished Pink was added to the inside of the card.
