Card #2 of my Fun Fold cards featuring the Christmas Scottie Bundle. Fun Folds are always a hit, so why not make it a birthday card? If you missed the first card, you can find it HERE.
Color Combo
Measurements:
Polished Pink: 5-1/2” x 11” scored at 1-3/4”, 3-1/2” 5-1/4” 7”
Basic Black 3” x 6” scored at 3”
Basic White: 5-1/4” x 3-3/4” for inside and cut 2 pieces 2-2/4” x 2-3/4”
Celebrate Everything DSP Polk-a-dot print: 2 pieces 5-1/4” x 1-1/2”
Celebrate Everything DSP Pink Snowflake print: 2 pieces 5-1/4” x 1-1/2”
- Using the Stamparatus and Memento Black Ink, stamp the “begging dog” on one piece of Basic White positioned as shown and the “sitting dog” on the other as shown. Restamp the images if you don’t have full coverage with the memento Ink.
- Fold the Polished Pink and Basic Black pieces of card stock as shown.
- Attach both prints of the DSP to the accordion folded front pieces as shown.
- Use Memento Ink to stamp the sentiment from Very Best Occasions on the large piece of Basic White and the bow for the present on the “sitting dog” piece.
- Use Polished Pink Ink to stamp the snowflakes around the sentiment on the large Basic White piece and attach this to the inside of the card.
- Use Polished Pink to stamp the sentiments and present on the small Basic White pieces as shown as well as the dogs bows.
- Use Polished Pink Marker to color in the collar of both dogs, then attach these stamped pieces to the Basic Black folded piece (both stamped images go on the outside of this small card)
- Close the accordion fold on the card and attach the “Happy Birthday” part of the black card to the top layer of the card, then while keeping the accordion fold in place, attach the “woof” part of the black card to the pink snowflake print closest to the inside of the card.
