Lighting the Way Bundle & FREE Sale-a-bration Paper!

As a child, I loved catching fireflies in the summer and was amazed at how their bodies would light up.  This card reminds me of those days.  I used the Lighting the way stamp set and coordinating Dies.  Did you know you save 10% when you purchase the stamp set and dies together in a bundle?  I also used the plaid print from the Day aAt the Farm Designer Series Paper for the table cloth.  This paper is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration choices when an order of $50 is placed by February 28th (that’s the final day of Sale-abration).

Color Combo

I started out by stamping the yellow “glow” with Crushed Curry ink on a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White, then I added the “trail” of the glow, then added the 3-3/4″ x 1-1/4″ paid paper to the bottom.  This was then adhered to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Night of Navy piece and then on to a Thick Basic White card base.  The 3 fireflies are stamped in Night of Navy with their glowing tails stampe diwth Crushed Curry.  These were die-cut using the Lighting the Way Dies as was the lantern.  The fireflies and lantern are attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
