Get Color Combo’s from Designer Series Paper

I love getting color combinations from our beautiful Designer Series Papers, and that’s exactly what I did with this card.  The printed paper is from the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper and it inspired me to use Night of Navy, Basic White and Flirty Flamingo for this card.  Don’t forget about the Designer Series Paper sale (15% off) going on through June 30th.

Color Combo

I used the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies and cut one circle from the Les Shoppes DSP and one from Night of Navy card stock, then I cut them in half.  I only need 1/2 of each for the card, so I made a second card with the other half.  I adhered these half circles to a piece of Basic White that was embossed with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. This was then adhered to a piece of Flirty Flamingo, then onto the Night of Navy card base.

I stamped the sentiment from Timeless Arrangements with Night of Navy ink on a banner strip of Flirty Flamingo and attached this to the card over the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The sweet little flower is from the Timeless Arrangements Bundle and was stamped with Night of Navy and colored with Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends, then adhered with Dimensionals.  The finishing touch is the addition of Iridescent Pearls that were colored with Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
