Baby Shower card using Playing in the Rain stamp set

A co-worker of mine is having a baby shower in 2 weeks, so I created this adorable card featuring the Playing in the Rain stamp set & coordinating Dies.  She has not found out the gender of the baby so I kept the colors gender neutral.

Color Combo

Measurements:

• Soaft Sea Foam: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4” (for card base)
• Pecan Pie: 5” x 3-3/4
• Basic White: 4-3/4” x 3-1/2” for background

4” x 3” for stamping & die-cutting

5-1/4” x 4” for inside card

Instructions:

• Stamp flowers across the 4-3/4” x 3-1/2” Basic White piece with Memento Ink and color leaves with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends and flower centers with Ivory Stampin’ Blend.
• Use Blending Brush with Soft Sea Foam ink to create grass along the lower edge below the flowers.
• Use Water Painter with Pool Party Ink to create sky being sure to color the area around the flowers. Stamp raindrops with Pool Party ink.
• Adhere the flower piece to the Pecan Pie piece and then onto the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
• On the 4” x 3” piece of Basic White stamp the fox, then die-cut the fox and the clouds.
• Use Blending Brush to apply Pool Party ink to the edges of the clouds.
• Color fox with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends, the tail and part of umbrella with Ivory Stampin’ Blends and the coat, hat and part of the umbrella with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends.
• Attach the fox and clouds to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere the remaining piece of Basic White to the inside of the card.
