Stamp, Crop & Cruise to Alaska

I recently returned from our Stamp, Crop & Cruise Retreat to Alaska with 63 guests.  This is the 7th cruise retreat I’ve hosted and we have a blast every time!  We sailed on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas from Seattle with ports of call at Sitka, Skagway and Juneau Alaska and Victoria, British Columbia from July 28- August 4th.

We have a dedicated conference room for the whole cruise and we craft on our days at sea.  I design and create all of the projects. This year it was a total of 40 cards, 6 scrapbook pages and a framed art project.  I bring all of the stamps, ink, dies, die-cutting machines, punches… needed for the cruise projects to make it easier for my crafters, as well as printed tutorials.  Check out a quick video of the conference space we crafted in during our cruise by CLICKING HERE

Once I have everything cut and packaged up by class, I send all the crafters a box filled with their cruise tote bag and projects, including a shadow box frame, a T-shirt, water bottle, embellishment box, trash tote, and card kit.  The crafters bring this box along with them on the cruise.

Here is the box of Embellishments they all received filled with Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems, Faceted Gems Trio Pack, Muted Pallet Dots, Neutral Matt Dots, Linen Thread & Stampin’ Dimensionals.  They used these products to embellish their projects with plenty left over to use at home.

When we craft, there’s always a little trash, so I made everyone one of these cute little trash bins using a blue & green plaid flannel and a wood grain print.  I thought these kept with the Alaskan theme.  I even had custom labels made that I sewed into the trash bins so my guests would have them as a memento of the trip.  I found the directions for making these totes on Angie Juda’s blog.

I also gave everyone the Birthday Fancy Card Kit to work on in their free time.  This kit is so darned cute and it has everything needed to make these 12 cards, including the stamp set, ink, and adhesives.  This kit is on sale for 15% off through the end of August. Item #166211 regular price $25 sale price 21.25

One last thing I included in their crafting boxes was a magnetic sign for their cabin doors.  It’s really fun to see so many Stamp, Crop & Cruise signs on the doors as we’d pass through the halls.

I will be posting all of the class projects in the coming days, so be sure to come back to check them out.  Also, we’ll be cruising to the Southern Caribbean in January 2026 and to the Eastern Caribbean in 2027 and I’d love to have you join in on the fun.  Click HERE for the information on the Southern Caribbean Cruise in 2026
