I always like to include a set of Sympathy cards for our Stamp, Crop & Cruise Retreat because, lets face it, when you need sympathy cards, that is not the time you feel like creating them. This set of cards features the Metallic Textures Rub Ons which was a new product most of the crafters had never used. Each of the cards features and the sentiment from the Peace on Earth stamp set and uses the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper and Gold Foil Sheets.
Basic Beige was used for the card base then we added a layer of Gold Foil and Basic White before adding a banner of the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper. A square of Gold Foil was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then we added a Basic White circle with the sentiment stamped on with Basic Beige Ink and then applied one of the images from the Metallic Textures Rub On’s. Some of the Loose Gold Sequins finished off the card.
This second card started the same as the first, then we added a half circle of Basic Beige and added the sentiment stamped with Basic Beige. Next we added a half Circle of the Gathering Together DSP followed by a thin banner of Gold Foil. The leafy image is a Metallic Textures Rub On that was applied to a piece of Basic Beige and fussy cut out before attaching to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cards three and four both have Mossy Meadow card bases, Gold Foil and Basic White layers. The Gold Wreath image is another of the Metallic Textures Rub On’s and was applied to a Mossy Meadow Circle. We added another circle with the sentiment stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink and applied to a Gold Foil circle. A strip of Gold Foil and a print from the Gathering Together DSP were added.
The final card in this set has another striped print from the Gathering Together DSP and a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock which we added the diagonal square images from the Metallic Textures Rub Ons. We then added a strip of Golf Foil followed by the sentiment circle stamped in Mossy Meadow.
The Peace on Earth stamp set is no longer available as it has sold out, other products used on these cards are all available.
