Tailored Tag Punch

I have to let you in on a secret!  I have fallen in love with the Tailored Tag Punch and it is a MUST HAVE!  Not only is it great for punching out sentiments to highlight them, but you can also do some very stunning paper piecing with this punch.

Stampin' Up! Perennial Birthday stamp set, Tailored tag Punch, Stampin' Studio

For this card I used the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper and punched out various prints, then attached them to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock leaving just a bit of the cardstock showing between each of the punched pieces.  I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set with Rich Razzleberry ink on one of the lighter prints.  Next I secured a piece of the Pear Pizzazz  Shimmer Ribbon over the paper pieced layers.  The sweet flower also comes from the Perennial Birthday stamp set.  After stamping it in Basic Black ink and coloring it in with Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz Stamp[in’ Write Markers, I did a bit of fussy cutting and attached it to the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, the finished paper pieced layer was attached to the Rich Razzleberry card base which measures 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″.  By using the Petal Garden DSP and piecing them together like this, I think it looks like a lovely quilt.

Here’s a previous card I posted HERE that was made the same way but uses the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper.

So, do you agree that the Tailored Tag Punch is a MUST HAVE?

Important Information!!!

This weekend, I’ll be heading to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event, which is when we, as demonstrators get to see the new Annual catalog!  YAY!!!!  So, I wanted to share with you something very important, and that is that with the new catalog comes new products which means some of our favorite products will be retiring!  For the most part we don’t know what items will be retiring, and the retiring product list will not be released until later this month, but what we do know is that once the list is released, many items will sell out immediately.  So that being said, what we do know is that all of the current products available in the 2016-2018 In Colors will retire.  My suggestion to you, is if you want/need ink refills, and cardstock and accessories in Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum,  get them ordered NOW. before the list is officially released, because by then it may be too late!
