I ran across another card I created using the Share What You Love Suite. As I’ve said over and over again, the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is the best. Not only are the designs gorgeous and some of the prints have shimmer and shine on them, but the paper is also thick, like cardstock, so it opens the door to more possibilities.
The idea behind this card was shared at On Stage in Milwaukee. Because the designer paper is thick like cardstock, I used it like cardstock for this card. Let me explain: The card base is Rich Razzleberry and measures 5-1/2″ tall x 5-1/4″ wide and i’ts scored at 4-1/4″. The floral print is cut 5-1/2″ tall x 4-1/4″ wide, and it’s attached to the inside of the card front flap, so that you can see the other side of the designer paper on the inside of the card.
On the 1″ wide Rich Razzleberry front flap, I added a 5-1/4″ x 3/4″ piece of DSP. The Old Olive horizontal banner breaks up the business of the floral DSP and the stamped floral banner. I added a bit of the 1/4″ Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon and a few of the Artisan Pearls. The small “hi” sentiment was created by stamping the “h” and “i” from the Make a Difference stamp set. That’s a 143 piece photopolymer alphabet set which will allow you to stamp any words your heart desires. Because of the flowing font in this stamp set, connecting each letter together is truly a piece of cake. This stamp set and the whole new Annual Catalog goes love it just one week!
