Biggest Wishes Masculine Card

Once again, the thing that is most requested is a masculine card, so I used the Biggest Wishes stamp set to create this masculine Slimline card. A slimline card is one that fits in a regular letter sized envelope and it can be designed vertical like this one or it can be designed as a horizontal or landscaped card. Either way these cards can be stunning.

Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper

Let’s talk about the main feature of the card though, and that’s the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper! This designer paper is a perfect “Go to” for any masculine card but when you really study the gorgeous prints, you’ll see there are lovely prints that will work for any occasion, male or female.

I cut 3 strips of the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper into 1″ x 6″ strips and attached them to a piece of Night of Navy that measures 3-1/2″ x 8-3/4″. Next I cut a 3-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ piece of the woodgrain print from the DSP and stamped it with Early Espresso ink using the Biggest Wish stamp set, then attached it below the three strips. I added some texture to a 3-1/2″ x 1/2″ piece of Merry Merlot by running it through the Bark 3D Embossing Folder. Once this was attached just above the stamped piece, I wrapped a long piece of Linen Thread around and tied it in a knot and attached the entire Night of Navy layer to the Thick Basic White card front ( 8″ x 9-14″ scored at 4″) and just like that, this masculine card is done!
