Extraordinary Floral Washi Tape Cards

It’s time for me to start sharing the projects I designed for my Stamp, Crop & Cruise Retreat to Alaska.  This set of six cards was one of those projects everyone made.  These cards feature the amazing Extraordinary Washi Tape (which is on sale for 15% off through the end of August) and the coordinating Extraordinary Floral Bundle and were a big hit with the stampers on the trip.  The washi tape is about 3″ x 10 yards long! We adhered the washi tape to basic white cardstock then die-cut the flowers out with the Extraordinary Floral Die creating tons of flowers and leaves to use on the cards.

The first three cards feature Soft Seafoam on a Basic White card base topped off with a Basic White layer that was embossed with the floral image from the Glass & Garden Embossing Folders.

The Meant to Bee dies were used to die-cut the hexagon from the Basic White piece prior to embossing it. Sentiments from the Extraordinary Floral stamp set were stamped on each card with Memento ink and inside each card we adhered a die-cut flower.

The second card features the die-cuts but we also created “Designer Paper” by using a strip of the washi tape adhered to Basic White and NOT die-cut.  Each of the cards were also embellished with the Low Profile Dots.

The last three cards in this set feature Berry Burst on a Basic White card base topped off with a Basic White layer that was embossed with the geometric image from the Glass & Garden Embossing Folders.  This card has the same layout as the first card, just horizontal rather than vertical as the first card was.Stampin' Up! Card 6 is the same layout as card three, but this time it’s horizontal rather than vertical.  One other thing to mention about the Extraordinary Floral Washi Tape is that when you unroll the tape, you’ll notice that the images of lowers have two different color palettes.  The first group of colors featuring pins, corals and light greens and can be seen on cards 1-3, while cards 4-6 feature the second color group with purples, deep berry and teal colors.
