Today’s card comes courtesy of guest stamper Kim Vale. I’ve used the Build a Birthday stamp set quite a bit and shared some fun samples, but I really like what Kim did here.
She focused on everything new from the Annual catalog. Watermelon Wonder was her card stock of choice as well as the ink she used for the cake platter and banners on top of the cake. Instead of stamping the layers of cake, she grabbed the Cherry on Top DSP stack and cut strips of it and stacked them on top o the cake platter. She then stamped the sentiment directly on top of the DSP. I love how she fancied things up with a bit of the Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim gathered around the cake platter.
