For the final card in this series (check out he others on my previous two posts) we used the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set “Big Day” as well as Blendabilities. I stamped the image with Versamark on Basic Black card stock and embossed it with Whisper White Embossing Powder. Using the Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo Blendabilities, I colored over the white embossed image and the Blendabilites ink sticks to it. Because the image is embossed on very dark card stock, Basic Black in this case, an overage in coloring doesn’t show up.
This technique is a fun way to get the “chalkboard” look which is so popular. I’m loving how bright the image looks when colored with the Blendabilities.
